When you’ve decided you’re ready to “put a ring on it”, it’s inevitable not to feel excited and anxious. It’s the most important day for you and your partner’s life and it marks the beginning of your journey as a married couple. But most importantly they’ll be telling this story of how you proposed to everyone they can, so make it memorable.

The key to the perfect proposal is to be personal! Assuming you’ve already spoken to the parents, the next step is to decide whether you need a Coordinator who will organise everything for you, so you don’t have to. If you want to be extravagant with your proposal, maybe that’s the way to go. Either way, it’s always nice to get family and friends involved to make it extra special.


It’s becoming more and more popular to go abroad for your proposal. A romantic beach destination with the sea and sky as your back drop and the sun either rising or setting- it’s an easy and breezy choice. If this isn’t quite your style… how about something a little more adventurous. How about at the top of a mountain amongst the clouds- that’ll really make you both feel like you’re on cloud 9. Your proposal doesn’t have to be BIG though, it can be somewhere local, maybe her favourite restaurant or your home. The point is, it should be in a place that’s important to you both; a place where you can both go back to and reminisce.  TIP: Try to propose earlier in the day that way you’re not a nervous mess for too long and you can both enjoy the rest of your day or week celebrating.
